Independent Expertise Supporting Stronger Governance

The Role of Avangard's Advisory Board
Successful investment management extends beyond portfolio construction. It requires sound governance, disciplined oversight, and the ability to adapt as financial markets, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices continue to evolve.
To support these objectives, Avangard has established an independent Advisory Board comprising experienced professionals whose careers span institutional investment, portfolio management, risk management, securities financing, wealth management, investor relations, and financial services leadership. Collectively, they provide independent strategic guidance that complements the executive team's operational responsibilities while contributing decades of practical industry experience.
Rather than participating in the day to day management of the business, the Advisory Board serves as an independent resource to the executive team. Its role is to provide guidance on investment policy, portfolio construction, risk frameworks, fund governance, regulatory compliance, operational best practice, distribution strategy, and emerging industry developments. This structure helps ensure that Avangard continues to strengthen its governance framework while remaining responsive to an evolving investment landscape.
Independent Perspectives That Strengthen Decision Making
The financial services industry continues to evolve through changing regulations, advances in investment technology, and increasing expectations around governance and transparency.
Drawing on experience gained across multiple market cycles and leadership roles, the Advisory Board provides an independent perspective that assists Avangard in evaluating strategic initiatives, strengthening governance practices, supporting investor engagement, and maintaining alignment with industry developments.
This independence complements Avangard's systematic investment philosophy by encouraging thoughtful discussion, constructive challenge, and informed decision making across matters that extend beyond portfolio management alone.

Experience That Supports Long Term Growth
Each member of Avangard's Advisory Board has built a distinguished career within a different area of financial services. Together, they contribute experience across investment management, portfolio construction, institutional markets, risk management, governance, wealth management, and investor relations.
This breadth of expertise provides Avangard with access to independent strategic perspectives that complement its quantitative investment capabilities and executive leadership. By drawing on decades of industry experience, the Advisory Board helps strengthen governance, supports informed strategic decision making, and contributes to the firm's ongoing development within an increasingly complex regulatory and investment environment.
A Commitment to Responsible Stewardship
At Avangard, disciplined investing extends beyond the investment process itself. Strong governance, independent oversight, and a willingness to draw upon experienced external perspectives are important components of responsible investment management.
The Advisory Board reflects this commitment by providing independent guidance that supports sound governance, informed decision making, and the continuous evolution of the firm's strategic direction in the interests of investors.
